Inner Harbor Marine (IHM) was formed to meet the boating and marine needs of the immediate Milwaukee Demographic.  For many years, ships store supplies were ordered by the marina’s that stored boats and any general items such as cleaning supplies, impellers, spark plugs and other boating items required the consumer to drive over a half an hour to attain those products.  West Marine is the outlet for these items currently and does not always have the appropriate amount of inventory in stock, available to the boating consumer.

Aaron Kelly, IHM’s Managing Director and Founder, realized this very early on in his early employment within this industry.  Having been gainfully employed by many of the same businesses in the area that are still in existence today, Aaron made notations in his mind as to how he would serve the boating demographic of Milwaukee in the future.  Over the last twelve years he has structured a plan that is completely different that what is currently available in the immediate markets.

There are multiple facets to IHM:

• Fully Stocked, Ships Store & Chandlery
• New Boat Sales
• Used Boat Sales
• Brokerage Boat Sales – Consignment Sales of Vessels for current ownership
• Water Taxi Service – Implementation set for 2008 Boating Season
• Concierge Service – Cleaning, Stocking of Food & Bev and Cleanup.  (A Service offered to allow owners to enjoy their vessels without the hassle of maintenance and preparation of trips and entertainment.)
• IHM Yacht Management – Providing Turn-Key concierge services to Yachts and Transient Boaters not from the immediate area.
